Reading Buddies help elementary school children develop and foster a love of reading.
In this one-on-one role, volunteers build meaningful relationships with students, inspire self-confidence and help build reading skills.
The buddy and student meet weekly for approximately 30 minutes during the student’s lunch period. We offer this program at Spalding Drive Elementary, Ison Springs Elementary, Lake Forest Elementary and Dunwoody Springs Elementary.
