The Teacher's Supply Closet, a collaboration of Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF) and the Community Assistance Center (CAC), is available for teachers to request required classroom supplies for their economically disadvantaged students. Volunteers will pack your supplies and deliver the order to your school. Our goal is to support our teachers as much as possible and deliver the supplies within two weeks, with the hope that you understand that our resources are sometimes limited and that we are supporting teachers at all 11 public schools in Sandy Springs.
These supplies are meant to fill gaps for economically disadvantaged students whose supplies have not been provided by parents or in backpacks from community organizations such as CAC. Your school’s social worker can refer families to www.ourcac.org if you believe they could benefit from CAC's services.
Questions? Contact [email protected] or [email protected].
We will be accepting orders August 20-December 6, 2024 and January 6-April 30, 2025.
A heartfelt THANK YOU for everything you do for our students! In 2023-24, the program served 6151 students and saved over 888 hours of teacher time. The value of supplies distributed was $38,946, including over $15,000 in in-kind donations
